A healthy food or balanced meal is very needed in our life.


Food pyramid or diet pyramid is a pyramid-shaped diagram represent the optimal number of servings to be eaten. The food pyramid is designed to make healthy eating easier. Furthermore, healthy eating is about getting the correct amount of nutrients that is protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals you need to maintain good health.

 Foods that contain the same type of nutrients are grouped together on each of the shelves of the Food Pyramid.They provide very little of the essential vitamins and minerals your body needs.

Healthy eating are included:

v  Plenty of bread, rice, potatoes, pasta ,cereals and some of fruit and vegetables
v  Some milk, cheese and yoghurt
v  Some meat, poultry, eggs, beans and nuts
v  A very small amount of fats and oils
v  Small amount or no food and drinks high in fat, sugar and salt
